In Geometry, line segments are used all the time. A line segment is a part of a line that connects two endpoints. An endpoint is a single point indicating where a line segment or a ray ends. A line segment has two endpoints and a ray has one.

Find the line segment in the ray:If you said line segment FA.....you were right. It has two endpoints F and A, which means it is a line segment.
